28th June 2008 Windsurfing: Hayling Island Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: f5 Surf / Sea State: Chop,slight waves Air Temperature: 22 Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Got down to Hayling to find Juan on the water, probably shortly to come off, and Beth just out. Rigged up 5.5 and, an interesting choice here, the new 116l Playmate, to see what it was like. Had a great time, it planes on nothing, needs some input to turn. Kept it up for a couple of hours - even managed another planing gybe. Rock. Eventually stopped when the sun clouded over and everyone else had left! |
